1、有兩種主要的翻譯研究途徑，一種是語言學，另一種是文化。雅各布遜、霍姆斯、卡特福德、奈達、紐馬克等通過語言學途徑來研究翻譯。而巴斯奈特、勒費弗爾、韋努蒂等則通過文化途徑。然而，翻譯研究不僅限于通過語言學途徑而達到的某種程度上的科學化，也不僅限于關注翻譯的文化反映。翻譯文學可看作一部文學作品。文學理論或文學批評可用于翻譯研究。因此，從生態(tài)批評的角度來研究翻譯有所價值。本研究的目的表明:生態(tài)批評或生態(tài)觀能用其文學方法來研究翻譯文本，并且這是一
2、種有效的途徑。本研究用《瓦爾登湖》的英文原版以及它的兩個譯本作為分析文本。本研究著重找出兩個譯本的語言差異，以及這些差異如何影響譯本中對世界的描述。此研究的結果表明，生態(tài)批評或生態(tài)觀能用于翻譯研究。筆者首先用文本細讀法和對比研究法找出兩個譯本的差異，接著嘗試運用生態(tài)批評去解析這些差異。根據(jù)本文分析和其分析結果可以總結出:生態(tài)批評用于翻譯研究是一有效的途徑，以及通過這種視覺可以使讀者獲得對譯本的新解讀。并且，期望本研究的結果會加深兩方面的
